It’a been said that a great brand starts with a great logo. And while this is often true, it only touches on part of the story.

Let’s face it, there are plenty of solid brands that have been built on mediocre logos. Sears, Verizon, and Microsoft all come to mind.

We helped Authentic Designs recreate their print advertising strategy, combining their customers’ most often-used online search terms with their own core story of handmade quality from Vermont.
Crystal-clear product photography, traditional layout, a clean use of typography, and their pre-existing logo all add to the story, which continues on their ecommerce site.

A good-looking logotype can be a big help in launching a new brand or startup. When it’s time to reposition, a logo redesign can be an extremely effective component in helping a brand increase its relevance and gain new visibility to the target audience. The power of a well-crafted logo to communicate and associate positive emotions among consumers can’t be ignored nor denied.

At its best, a logo encapsulates the core values in a visually concise manner. But an effective brand presentation goes way beyond, and actively embraces all aspects of communication — from copy and visuals to product design, social interactions and customer service.

We approach most branding assignments as a three-step process:

  • Put the user first. Every potential customer at some level simply wants to know, “What’s in it for me?”
  • Distill the core essence of the brand — its DNA — into a relevant & compelling story
  • Include the brand story at every appropriate touchpoint, so that each iteration supports the message and encourages consumer engagement.

Whether or not you need a new logo, you can look to us for solid, results-oriented strategies that’ll work within your budget to help you define & communicate an effective branding message. Call Dave at 802.282.3368 and find out more.
